We need prayer just as much as in the morning as we do in the evening, so pray always and without ceasing and God will hear and He will answer (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). The psalmist writes, cleanse me from sin with hyssop and I will be clean. 7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Prayer should be a constant thing in our lives. There appears to be synonymous parallelism in verse 7. Praying in the evening is just as important as praying in the morning and noontime.

If we are living in sin, God will not answer our prayer, but if we are confessing them and asking God to forgive them, we can be like the psalmist in the greatest prayer of repentance found in Scripture. He is there, evening and morning, and noon and night. It’s reassuring to know God hears our voice and listens to our problems.
